100 Hours
When the Dems said they were going to pass through all of this legislation in 100 hours, I thought "Wow, somebody is really on the ball. It's catchy and newsworthy and fast paced." But then you start looking at the details. 100 hours didn't start RIGHT away, they had to have a few days first. And then it's not 100 continuous hours, but 100 hours of 8 hour work days (no weekends! no overtime!), which is like 2 - 3 weeks. So this sexy, fast idea just became...blah. They took a James Bond kind of idea and turned it into an actuary. Boooooring. Call me when someone starts a fist fight on the floor of the house. My MTV mind can't be bothered to hang in there and pay attention for 3 weeks, especially when I have no input or impact on what's going on.
