Another random Granogue thought
The best part of being in the pit at Granogue for the elite men's race? Standing next to Ryan Trebon's bike. Tree Farm is 6'6" tall. I'm pretty tall for a woman, and the seat on that thing came up to my sternum. Maybe 40" from ground to the top of the saddle?The worst? Not getting to be on the hill where there were reportedly 200 screaming fans. You could hear them all over the course. I think they burnt themselves out though. The next day at the Wissahickon race, was very, very quiet. And that's with a women's race that included a sprint finsh between Katie Compton & Lynne Bessette!
