I was just watching some video on CNN.com about China's boy surplus. Because of China's "One Child" policy, and thanks to selective gender abortion and infanticide, boys are outnumbering girls in the maternity ward at a rate of 118 to 100 in Beijing, and 130 to 100 elsewhere. They're saying by 2020 there's going to be approximately 30 million more men than women in China.

I'm taking this to mean that the mail order bride business is about to reverse directions. So if you have a daughter under the age of 10, she, too, will probably have the opportunity to be bought and paid for by a rich Chinese man. Oh happy day!
