Danish Cartoons - never too much
This is really late to the party, but Dave at Garfield Ridge has a fair point about the famous Danish cartoons. Doesn't keep me from wanting to say "Dude, if the Catholics rioted every time something offensive was said, written, cartooned or otherwise artistically depicted, there wouldn't be a standing building in the country." But any commentary which contains the sentence:I titled this post "a religious disconnect" because the world is now in a very bizarre transitional stage when it comes to religious belief. I'm not here to insult Western religious beliefs, but. . . c'mon, most people in the West believe in religion like they behold the power of cheese.
deserves a read.
